Hosts were less than welcoming. The restaurant announced that the chef was not available, so items on the menu were also not. Would have loved to have known this at check in so we could have chosen options for other places to eat. Service was slow, and one plate was very different from the next of the same item.
Private spa would have been amazing but the jacuzzi was the same temp as the pool, room temp to cool, and the fireplace and shower wouldn't turn on. No one at the desk the entire time to ask for help and the courtesy phone didn't work inside the spa.
Grounds and rooms are beautiful but not sure we would stay here again.

We tried to let the front desk know about the issues multiple times, even rang the bell. No one came. The lady who ran the breakfast this morning was wonderful and the breakfast was nice too.
My partner was the one to do the check out so I could take care of the kiddo but at that point, there wasn't anything to be fixed.
This little resort is located in beautiful Umbria, next to the Trasimeno lake.
We had a perfect time there and all our wishes were fulfilled.
Even an earlier dinner was no problem at all and the price (45€ p.P for starter, main dish and a really good wine) was totally fine.
We were able to book the spa for one hour just for ourselves. It consists of a sauna, a jacuzzi and a shower, tea is offered as well.
The temperature of the jacuzzi was a bit too cold.
The suite with a terrace has a beautiful lake view and it’s very calm outside, we had a wonderful rest.
Breakfast offers a lot of choice and the dining room is just wonderful.
I will definitely come back. :-)

Nice and quiet restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. The service was good and friendly. Recommended wines suited the dishes very well. Overall experience was very calming and enjoyable. We will be back. Favorite dish was the primi (pasta).

A magical place, immersed in nature. Really “out of the world” feeling, romantic and relaxing. Superb mansion and beautiful swimming pool, in need of some maintenance. The restaurant is amazing, food is delicious. Unfortunately the service has been slow and not well organized. Breakfast didn’t have a variety of options, seemed just enough for few guests., but we’ll presented. The room was very spacious, well furnished. Some details in the bathroom totally out of any logic, not in line with the context..the devil is in the details.. The staff has been really kind and willing to satisfy my requests.
